Nitrous oxide is a colourless gas. It has dual nitrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom written as N2O. Nitrous oxide is typically used for anesthesia and pain relief by medical professionals and dentists. It has also been misused by people for recreational purposes.
Another use for nitrous oxide gas is as a petrol booster in cars. Nitrous oxide is not flammable at lowwer temperatures. However, when super heated the oxygen is broken off and helps burn the cars usual fuel and release more energy.
